Now, this is one I liked. I loved the way you aresupposed to pilot it. There's this water sphere in the head/core of the robot. The pilot should float there and perform any movements he/she like and the robot would repeat them. But there is one single problem: this robot is tway too heavy and limited, it won't perform human movements with much (or any) precision. Better go on trying...

Might I turn this into a model for my portfolio? no commercial use, but I really like it, it would show up on my website as example work (with appropriate accreditation for the artwork it is based upon, of course)

But of course. It would be an honor.

Thanks, working on it now :)
Low and High Rez Model are complete, working on the diffuse and normal map to bring down the polies :) (For game artists, being able to create low-poly art is like being able to spin straw into gold)

I really like this design. I'm writing an alternate history book that depicts Russia and Britain creating the first functional mech to use against Nazi Germany. I love how the glass has those gold lines on them. I look at that little man to the right and think "I wouldn't f*** with that!" :O

Nice job. I like how you didn't make overly human and Eva-ish. It's not that I have a problem with Eva, I just think What you got here is more closely accurate than something like Eva or Gundam. Well done!

Pretty cool. You know I actually thought about trying a story that uses a steampunk version of a mecha, but with the design more like a large suit of armor
